my fiance had my dress made for me and boning runs from the waist up to the top of the strapless dress. I can't find a semastress that knows how to make it flatten out so i don't look like i'm more top heavy that i really am any suggestions? it poofs out way to much on my bust line.

I had this problem with a top and once I took the boning out, it looked fine. I have a good strapless bra that helps. If you need the boning below, just remove the boning at the top, or if it's one piece cut it and remove the top portion.

if you still need support for the mid section (and to get that smooth look) then remove the top portion. Boning all the way to the top just make the dress look smooth, it may alse need to be taken in a bit, it should be snug, kind of like a courset. that also helps to keep the dress on
