You have loads of years left! We were married for 14 years before becoming first time parents at age 38. Personally, I think that waiting until later to become parents is great! You have more money, life experience, and common sense in your bag.
Get out there and meet people! Look ahead!

Mine started to get really bad at about age 24. Having had three children now (all teenagers) and at age 41, I would tell you that you have plenty of time. Do all of the things that you want to do in life. Be completely selfish. Once you make the commitment to being married and having children, you will find that you come last and you'll wish that you had a little time to yourself.
It's a biological feeling that you're having and it will come and go over the years. Mine just stopped recently and finally I no longer want to get pregnant and have another baby. I'm so looking forward to having my life back once my girls are out of the house and I can be with my boyfriend full time and travel etc...
Use you time now for yourself. You have so much time ahead of you that can be devoted to raising a child. Put yourself first and get the education that you want. Travel. Buy yourself luxuries and just have a good time. You sure don't want to look back and think that you missed out. It takes a long time to raise children and you won't EVER be as free as you are now.

Maybe peer pressure. Throw a towel over the "clock". Get on with living your life. 26 is NOT old! Don't feel you have to get pregnant, just for the sake of doing so. It's not written anywhere, that I know of, that a woman HAS to become pregnant at some point in her life time. You're 26, enjoy your freedom and your youth!

I am 25 now but I swear mine started ticking at around 20. I'm sooo glad that I waited, but I remember feeling like that. Keep yourself busy maybe get a new pet or something to take your mind off of it. You have plenty of time yet. Now you should be doing all the things you want before you have a child i.e. travel, spoil yourself, and just have fun with friends. When the time is right you will know. Best of Luck. Have Fun!!!!!

I've been feeling mine overwhelmingly since 24. Its normal. Nature WANTS you to continue the species while you're still young enough to do it. Despite changes in society, historically and evolutionarily, if by 26 you DON'T have children, there is a problem.

I would say your 100% normal. Most woman start hear that damn clock in their mid twenties. I took a hammer to mine (LOL) But every woman is different some don't hear until they are in their 40's and they feel like they are settled. Just depends on the woman.
