The Cubs have a chance to do some good things this season but sometimes they still have that old mentality. Zambrano is one of the major keys to the Cubs success this year so they better reach an agreement before any form of arbitration comes into play. If it goes that far there will be some bad feelings and he might not perform as well as he can.

no, Cubs allows him to stay in Chicago one more year before he can leave for other team or collect more money. He wants to staying with Cubs. But Cubs had spend much money on new players and current player.

I dont think they will even though they dont want to go there. It is like a free for all and they talk bad about the player which can make them want to leave.
