Thanks so much,
Tori

My sister is a total "stitcher n' bitcher" as she calls it herself and I know she has gotten both great books and DVDs from amazon.com.

I've included a link below to amazon's crochet DVD selection. My sister recommends "I Can't Believe I'm Crocheting" & "Crochet From Start to Finish*ing".

Check it out: http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&keywords=crochet%20dvd&tag=httpwwwcheapa-20&index=dvd&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325

Have fun in crochet land and I hope you quit smoking 4ever - did it myself 2 months ago and not looking back!

Good luck with the smoking.

I learned from the Stich 'n ***** Happy Hookers book. Can't recommend it enough. (It has some great patterns in it and is very easy to follow). The illustrations are very clear and I picked it up very quicly.

Hope this helps
(Sorry, I don't know of any dvds)

Probably, I don't know of any specific ones, but go on specialist websites, and you'll probably find one in a starter kit in an online store somewhere
