I keep getting asked to put in the city or zip code. I DON'T KNOW in what city it is playing. That is what I am asking. Just tell me in what city it is playing at the current time. It seems simple. Where is this movie playing in California and they tell you.

Unless a movie is in limited release, it should be playing in every major city - the trick is finding out what chain of movies theatres (AMC, Cinemark, Regal, etc.) is carrying it.
Your best bet for release information is probably www.fandango.com. It will tell you when the movie is being released if it isn't released already. It isn't tied into a particular movie theatre chain.
Other than that, if you check the movie chain sites (AMC, etc.,), it should have a list of movies currently showing at it's theatres.
Another good resource for movie information is Internet Movie Database. www.imdb.com

Wow...no comment on your stupidity. Anyhow simply put your OWN zip code in, then when it gives a list of the movie and times, click on the movie and it will TELL you what movie theater in a surrounding mile range that it's playing in.
