Sanders, as it stands now. LT will be better after his career is over.

LT is better at catching the ball out of the backfield, but Barry Sanders had some ridiculous moves. I'm going to go against the trend and say Barry Sanders here. If he would have played for a better team than the Lions, his numbers would probably God-like, and he would probably be boasting a Super Bowl ring as well.

That said, it did pain me to see the Chargers score 42 second half points against the Bengals this year. I disowned the Bengals after that game due to the nauseating feeling I was getting after the loss, but I was glued to the TV during their game the next Sunday, so I guess I recovered quickly.

Who is the better: Barry Sanders

Who would I rather have on my team: LaDainian Tomlinson

It sounds weird, but it is true. Barry Sanders was a fricken magicain on the field. My jaw is still dropped from some of this stuff he managed to pull off. LT, however, can catch the ball better than a lot of NFL recievers. His acceleration and agility are unmatched! Even to Reggie bush.

If I had to start a franchise, my first pick would be LT.

Sanders.

LT is great, but how any years has he been the best?
Sanders had no supporting cast and still ripped up the league every year of his short career, EVEN WHEN THE OTHER TEAM KNEW ALL THE LIONS WOULD DO WAS RUN.

That is the difference between the two.

You cant compare players of different era's. In my Opinion, Barry Sanders is in the tops three of all time backs, with Emmit, and Jim Brown. Barry Sanders could change direction on a dime, then immediatly speed back up. Some of his runs were just crazy to watch.

look LT is probably going considered one of the final backs ever yet Barry is so plenty greater powerful. He had a nasty O-line and nevertheless controlled to be the final of his era. LT has a greater powerful line and a expert Bowl fullback to run in the back of besides. All you need to do is watch an old tape of Sanders and you additionally could make the determination straight forward. you are able to desire to no longer deliver him down and while he grow to be rather much down he nevertheless be able to renounce his knee from hitting the floor ruin the two tacklers and then bypass on. purely style in Barry Sanders highlights in any video participant and look in any respect the hits.

LT, hands down, hes already torn up the record book, and hes still young, hes only getting started, and no disrespect to barry sanders, but he played in a time where each team had their star tackler, but then no one else could make a hit, todays football has a much tougher defense.

As of right now, Barry Sanders. I am only 30, but he was the best i have ever seen. LT is young, but i stil don't see him ever being as good as Barry. He would have shattered what now is Emmit Smiths rushing record if the Lions didn't screw him over. If he had the cowboys offensive line that Smith had he would of shattered the record years ago.

It's a toss up. L.T. can catch out of the backfield better than Barry, but then again, he also has Gates to take the pressure off of him and Lorenzo Neal paving the way. Barry had to create almost everything for himself, so I have to go with Barry Sanders.

Barry Sanders, because Sanders was the only thing the Lions had. Chargers have Gates, & Rivers

LT is a better all around back. He can run different styles within a game, catch out of the backfield, and even pass. Sanders was a better pure runner.
