And what one lived up to your expectations? For me I was most disappointed in "The DaVinci Code". The girl was terrible. I was thrilled with "Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest" in spite of the average reviews.

Definitely the Da Vinci Code but The Lord of the Rings was a bit of a let down after the books too....

Yje davinci code do i have to saymore, it was an ok film and it wasnt bad made but because it has so many underliying stories it doesnt translate well into film!. and the fact that it was being made put to be the best film EVER! didn help it got bummed up to much thats all.

The second Pirates was the last one I felt disappointed with. My all time let down is the Phantom Menace.

I have to go with The DaVinci Code... just becuase the book was sooooooooo good , and the movie didnt even come close

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy would be the biggest disappointment...the books were so great!
I was really pleased with the whole Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Salems Lot.
I read the book last week and it was fantastic, so bought the DVD with David Soul on Saturday (as the guy in HMV said the one with David Soul was the best one) watched it that night and thought it was shite! It was so old fashioned and fake looking but gave me a laugh!!

I will have to say The Da Vinci Code...the book was great, but the movie was too short and not as explicit with the story as the book, but we all know...the book is always better than the movie.

The Hulk. I'm not a comic book guy, but could they have made that movie any worse? I'd rather see Lou Feriggno in the old series

Flags of Our Fathers. The book is great. The movie is boring. Memoirs of a Geisha was pretty good but the book was better.
