The police knew immediatly, thus they don't check with the employed or anything...

The man is soaking wet even though his car is in a covered garage in his building and at work. This means the man made himself wet when there was no reason, which indicates he is attempting to lie.

He's a professional baseball player? LOL, can't play in the rain...Or, he's a cop, and duh, they would already know whether or not he was at work....yeah, or he's a street performer...can't do that in the rain...there are a million answers. He's a roofer? He's a contruction worker? He dances ballet in a theatre with no roof? heheh....I could go on forever with mindless answers. I'm sure there is a simple answer to this question, but I did too many drugs in high school to see it. He was a professional kite flyer? LOL.

if the cops know he was lying then they must patrol around where he works and remembered that he was gone when he walked through the door
