In April it will be Five years since I purchased my home. My present to myself was going out and buying the Florescent light bulbs at a cost of $30.00+/-for the entire house. I just recently replaced one of them and there suppose to last Five years. Oh well, I will find out how long the others last.

Yes, in the last 18 months have change to all florescent lightbulbs. So glad that we did, amazing difference!

Yes. As I paint alot and do alot a little projects the better lighting is fantastic. Plus the energy bill is visibly lower.

Yes I use them where ever I can. Much more light for much less wattage. I like that the new compact fluorescents are electronic ballatst as that eliminates the fickering and time lag when you turn them on.

Yes! My son is on energy conservation and insisted. I can't tell any difference..except in the instant on. It seems to take awhile to heat up for full strength.
