I use black oil sunflower seeds. I will also add some Safflower seeds because the finches and nuthatches like it. I also have 2 suet feeders out for the wood peckers.

Weed seed is cleaned out of grain and is sold for bird feed, It's all different sizes so there's food for all the birds, and it's inexpensive. Corn attracts too many other critters and is too big for the small birds.

Bird seed,bread crumbs,crushed cereal,or you can spread peanut butter on a pine cone and then bird seed ,then hang in a tree for a treat that birds love.

Birdseed. Get the ones with a mixture but alot of sunflower seeds in them. They seem to like them the best.
