I had a George in my class, but it was pronounced "hor-hay"...

My first name has 18 different traditional spellings... No one can seem to spell my name right.... It's just a change of C,Ch, or K, and i, ie, or y.
My brother spelled his daughter's name Chi'enne. You shouldn't put a ' in a kid's name, no matter how weird you want it spelled!
Leighanne was a weird one... That can be spelled about a million different ways... Leanne. Leeanne. Leeann. whatever.
Another, I have a neice that's named Melacia. (ma-lace-see-a) I love that name, but it's definately a weird one...
Oh yea, I knew a Michelle, but it was spelled Michael. Talk about confusing...

John, wtg! I'll bet you gave the spell checker a run for it's money!!! lmao!

;o)

Sean instead of Shawn.
I never could understand that!
I went to school with a boy named Gerime instead of Jeremy. I actually thought that was kinda cool, though.

Jennifer (my name)

spelled "Jennaphr" (doesn't make sense)

Also, "Aisling", pronounced "Ashleen". It looks cooler than it sounds.
