we have two opinions one gives fullsome answer
one gives opinion
gw gave it to himself ,he surrendered the army by act of treason ,ham stringing the armed forces then reassuming the powers he surrended
why?
did his commision expire ,his oaths of duty subvert the oath of office now inhabited by a plant [nothing personal george you know i love you ] this is histry ,but being histry is it eternal truth or tested fact

No it was not, is not and needs to be changed! The Military Commissions Act of 2006 eliminates any Americans right to habeas corpus, the right to be indicted, the right to go before a civilian court, and the right to be tried by a jury of his peers. If a person is sentenced to death under that act, they have no appeal to the US Supreme Court! All the president has to say is that you are a combatant! He doesn't even have to prove it!

I have called the Speaker of the House and my Congress woman as that eliminates constitutional rights I am guaranteed!

It also gives bush, retroactive to before the war, immunity from prosecution for his violations of the Geneva conventions and the torture of innocent civilians! The definition of torture under that act is anything he says it is, or not, as the case may be!
