No, they are not related, as Keaton is their respective stagenames. Michael Keaton (born Michael John Douglas) decided to use an alternative surname to remove confusion with well known actor Michael Douglas, as well as satisfying SAG rules, and after reading an article on actress Diane Keaton, he decided on "Michael Keaton".
Diane Keaton was born Diane Hall.

No there is no relation. Micheal Keatons real name is Michael John Douglas and Diane Keatons real name is Diane Hall.

Michael Keatons real name is Michael Douglass, but since that name was taken he took the last name of Keaton in honor of Diane Keaton. He said he always liked her and thought it would be perfect.

Micheal is the secret love child of Diane and Woody Allen,,, in order to cover up the the birth of Michael, Woody made sure to doctor the birth certicicate and come up with a story on how Buster Keaton is really his father. I saw it on True Hollywood Stories this weekend.
