I have pink eye and cant go to the Dr. I called the Dr and tried to get them to call in a prescription for me but they wouldnt, they said Id have to come in and I CANT because I dont have the money. I dont have insurance so it would be atleast $80 they said and i just dont have it. What else can I do?

You can try using Similasan Pink Eye Relief Drops. These eye drops are available at your local drug store. But if these eye drops do not help your condition, I would definitely make an appointment with your doctor. $80 is a lot of money, but if your condition gets worse and requires extensive treatment, it may cost you even more money in the long run.
P.S. If you are a college student, I would recommend going to the student health clinic for treatment.

You can try:
A warm warm compress applied to the eyes for 5 to 10 minutes 3 or 4 times a day will make you feel better.
To help the healing process along, keep your eyes and eye lids clean by using a cotton ball dipped in sterile water to wipe the crusts away.
Adults who have a lot of discharge should make a solution of 1 part baby shampoo to 10 parts warm water and clean your clean your eye lids and eyelash.
Don't swim.
Taking a over the counter antihistamine will help and relieve the pain..

Wal-mart actually sells a product to help with pink eye. While seeing is your best bet for antibiotics that is my only other suggestion.

Just go to the hospital, they have to take care of you and you will be billed later. If you can't pay the bill all at once just make small payments. You need an antibiotic!

look into a free clinic try calling the local health department or look for a doctor that has a cheaper office fee or is willing to take payment. need to take care of it its contagious and could possibly damage eyesight.

pink eye is avary serious eye infection , you MUST see a doctor now , its not a just give me a pill type thing, you can go blind

KEEP YOUR HANDS AWAY FROM YOUR EYES... AND FLUSH THE EYE WITH WATER AND IT WILL GO AWAY IN SOME DAYS OR SO.. BUT THE DR.. PRESCRIBES ATTIBIOTICS BUT YOU WILL HEAL SLOWLY BUT IT WILL GO AWAY...
