I have several friends who have established permanent residence in Philippines. Some American, some British, some Aussie, some Kiwi. I spend a lot of time there but always on tourist visa. Do you have a specific question?

Yes, you will find that people will be able to help you with your questions. You, on your part, have to remember to actually ask the required questions.
Suggest that you edit your single question and actually ask what it is that you want to know.
