In a few hours people will be able to vote for the best thriller. Remember, i asked about thrillers, not horrormovies. This means no supernatural elements. I see some people have mentioned horrormovies like The Exorcist or The Shining as the best thrillermovies, but again, those are horror, not thrillers, so those are wrong answers.

The Exorcist - it's a classic thriller.

I assume you are removing any supernatural aspect when you define "thriller" as opposed to "horror;" have to agree Silence of the Lambs is at the top. Try "Wait Until Dark" or "Psycho" for more old-school thrills less the shock/gore.

Absolutely the Exorcist and the Omen...Those movies are old time classic...If you want somethin' more spesial, you can watch Psycho (but it is not so scary)...If you want somethin' usin' immagination ''Nightmare on Elm Street''(the first only)... The silence of the lamps was also a great film...The film ''The Grudge'' was scary...I would tell you to prefer the old films...

Has to be PSYCHO. How many people cannot remember Hannibal, yet not forget Norman Bates (generations later even)
Shower anyone?

My choice would be Midnight Exspess. Wonderful acting and based on a true story. The ending was nerve racking.

I have to agree with 100% on that one. Personally I think it is one of the greatest movies of any genre.
