I bought a domain brand name and found it was used(the brand name) by Pepsi as an old commercial, is it ok ?

I bought a domain brand name via godaddy.com and i recently found out that it was used(the brand name) by Pepsi just for an commercial in the past, is it ok to use it for a building a website and etc. (and i mean only the domain name) ? what should i do ?

If they let it expire you should assume they no longer need it...maybe you want to contact them and ask, they may offer to buy it from you for much more than you paid.
