i keep installing it.it says it has installed,then it keeps flashing the warning stating 1 item needs to be sorted and it is always the anti virus HELP

switch it off and , download " avg " it's free and good

Have you checked which item needs attention? Do you need to run a virus scan? There are trial anti virus programs available through the Microsoft website if you want to try them, and when each trial ends you could just go to the next one until you've used them all! Make sure you only have 1 anti virus program running at a time or they will conflict.

Well, go the th add/delete programs and delete the program, then reboot and try again.
You did not mention which program. Norton's I heard is hard to delete but Norton's has a program for that.
I presume your best protection must be free ware then.
