to be honest, wait until you have the horse! they may already have a name, so wait and see what you like! choose the horse because of the horse, not so it matches a name you like! good luck in finding your match!

I have 2 appaloosa horses 1 mare 1 filly. The mare already had a name Jill so I kept that name cuz she would already come to it. But the filly didnt have 1 so we named her Belle. So I would have to agree w/ the other people, u need to get the horse 1st see if it has a name and if its an older horse u may want to keep the name because he/she would already be used to it. But a young horse that hasnt had time to learn his/her name u could change it.

Wait till you get it. Even the little one. Because so many times their personality helps you come up with a name that fits your horse to a tee.

yu must pick a name that fits the horse tho! w8 till yu get the horse, see wat he/she looks like, then tell us wat he/she looks like, THEN ask us wat name would suit it. that would be WAYY more helpful!
