I'm the last person to spread unproven theories, but I do find it odd that her views change based on poll numbers and pressure from within the Political game instead of sticking her ground for what she believes in.

That was when she was a war hawk and thought that this was the only way to position herself as the moderate candidate for her future run at the White House.
If the Iraq war had turned out a little better, she would have stuck to her position; now she is scrambling to do one of those "I voted for it before I voted against it" moments that killed Kerry.
The Republicans have no one to blame but themselves however for the likely-hood that Ms. Clinton is going to be our next Prez. 12 years in control of congress and 6 years of the White house have worn down the population to the point where they would be willing to vote for an inanimate carbon rod instead of a Republican.
Doesn't help that the front runners for the Republicans are 1- A crusty war veteran who sides with Bush on most important issues; 2- A Quasi liberal from Massachusetts with good hair but no discernible positions of his own. 3- A divorced former Mayor who is on the wrong side of all the issues which the Right Wing nuts hold near and dear to their hearts.

Yes, I do. I also remember everybody else and their brother saying it too. Congress, the people in the street, the Joint Chiefs, the President and Vice President. You're going to have a problem selling this to anyone but ultra-cons. The rest of us have been quite aware for some time that we were sold a bill of goods. Thank God Congress is finally admitting it and changing their stance. In case you didn't know, changing your stance when the old one is no longer supportable or viable is a GOOD thing. I wish our President could figure that much out.

Hillary said "I didn't know I had those files I had hidden!"
