I don't see a total meltdown coming, but when you have two players of that caliber on the same team, egos are going to collide. I am sure it was a lot easier for them to be friends when a-rod was on an opposing team, for the simple fact that they were not always in the same clubhouse for an entire season together. A-rods recent struggles have also strained the relationship, him moving to third might play on his mind as well, Jeter being the team captain cant help either.

No, Jeter has too much class for that. A-Rod needs to learn that sometimes it's better just to keep your mouth shut.

oh ya, Jeter is a selfish joke and will continue to show Arod up on the field and on the bench whenever Arod does something wrong.
Gotta love it tho, what a train wreck they got already and its only February.

Nah. Jeter isn't that kind of person, neither is A - Rod. I can't believe u people actually think this is a big deal. It isn't. Do u know how many people r disliked around clubhouses, but they don't make it public. So why is this a bigger deal.

NO, I don't think so. Jeter seems to have to much class to behave like that on or off the field.

They haven't gotten along since 2001. There will be no blowouts between them. They are professionals.

If they did, I would think they would keep it to themselves and off the field. I don't like the Yankees, but they usually handle themselves in a very professional manner. Not many hotheads around NY, ya know...
