I always see this man in a black military uniform walking by my room at night. My light is still on and I'm up still up this man I always catch him with the corner of my eyes. He would walk down the hall I live in a tiny studio apartment so not much space. The hall towards the closet. The closet is stuff so there is no way he can hide in there. & Then at times he would even peak at me behind the wall. I would get uncomfortable and get up and look who was it. But no one. My house is secured gated and no one can get in. My mother even said she be seeing this man walkin by the hall. I don't know but it is something about this hall towards the closet that he always go at night. He doesn't hurt nobody or anything but he always walk pass my room to the closet and sometimes peak at me. What do you think this can be??? This place is over 80 years old. A few people died here. Some thru sickness, sum was murdered and I don't kno what else. That is all I know.

I've occasionally had experiences like this, but it's probably not a ghost. Here's some info. from the Center for Paranormal Research.
"Basically, light entering from the corner of the eye is distorted more than the light that enters the eye from straight on. What you see out of the corner of your eye is simply your mind's best guess at what you would see if you were to look straight at it. Therefore, you cannot be too sure of what you see through the corner of your eye."

What you are seeing can be explained in a couple of different ways:
(a) Sometimes by seeing things out of the corner of our eye, we are in fact seeing a different dimension, which co-exists with our own, but on a different plain. There have been several theories of the past, present, and future all existing at the same time, taking place on different plains, but each is not aware of the other. This can and would explain what happens in the Bermuda Triangle.
The second explanation is:
(b) Yes, you are seeing a ghost, who is aware of you as well and is interested in observing you. Since the building you live in is over 80 years old and you are aware that some people have passed on, it is very possible that your mystery guest is indeed a ghost. Since there has been no malice towards you and/or anyone else, I would say that this spirit means you no harm.

Dear, I believe you. We are all psychic - it is simply more developed in some people. You are seeing what you are seeing. When I was developing my psychic abilities (yes, they are like muscles, they can be made stronger - just as the ability to be psychic can be dimmed by stress, caffeine, drugs, sugar - to name a few) I saw beings/ghosts out of the corners of my eyes all the time. Then when you turn your head quickly, you don't see them. Energy never dies. Some people are caught and do not know they are dead. You can say hello to him next time you see him and tell him it is all right to go into the light. If he can't find the light (he is stuck) then ask and pray for a being that has already crossed over to come back and guide the one who is left behind and help him to cross over.
Good luck. And ignore people who try to tell you that you are crazy. You might just be very psychic. NOT crazy.

He may just be a Earth Bound Spirit when you see him in the corner of your eye say you are dead and go to the light your friends and family are waiting for you and say it every time until you don't see him anymore.

it's possible yes afterall the corners of your eyes are more sensitive to movement I always see a black shadowy thingy moving in my moms room when I walk down the hall then go to look and nothing is there

I don't belive it's a ghost I. Have a similar issue ...a shadowy figure is staring at me in the corner of my room....it's really creepy...

I believe you if it's not trying to scare you simply tell it you are annoying me please go away it works for me as we have a spirit in our house and when she gets to much presence here , knocking on walls ,turning on light's etc. we tell her to knock it off for awhile, or you have to move. Try checking out the buildings history and maybe you can find out who he is and talk to him.

I believe you yes there is a ghost there and tell him to go toward the light and go in it.Tell him to leave you alone you are making me scared..

You could be seeing a spirit. As long as it's not bothering you, I wouldn't worry about it.

Maybe you should quit smoking crack, because ghosts are not real.
That's the best advice your going to get, people telling you that ghosts exist, claiming something is there that is not is no help.
