We have recently bought a windows vista operating system and we tried to load our Hp photosmart c6180 disc onto the computer. It would not install because we are running vista. There is no seperate disk for the vista operating system either. We have tried going to the HP photosmart website and installying a fix but without success. Any help/info/links are appriated.

Unfortunately, Vista still has a long way to go. When it came out there were still a lot of drivers that were not compatible. So every day something is coming out. Your best bet is to go to the HP site and let them know.

This is not surprising as the some of the drivers are not available just yet for Vista, I would suggest doing an update on the machine to see if they have a patch for that yet.

Good luck
