I only started watching 24 this season. Who is Charles Lowden and how does he know Jack??

That was former president Logan from the previous season, the president who was compliscent in the death of Former President Palmer and the release of syntox nerve gas

I watch 24 last night,
Charles Lowden is the Vice President from last season, he has information about the bombs,and the killing of President Palmer's brother who is now the President of the United States.I think that he knows about what is going to happen to the Pres.and is going to tell Jack.Well find out next week .

Charles Logan. He was the President in Season 4-5. If you only started watching this season, I highly suggest you start from Season 4 (well Season 1, but Season 4 is where it really gets good).

It was Charles Logan, former President, who was involved in the release of the Syntox poison gas by terrorists. He was also indirectly invovled in the assinationation of the first President Palmer (current President Palmer's brother).
Chuck's the last man I expected to see again.
