It seems to have been coming back lately, with more teams than just individuals being paired up. However, Michaels and Cena are the champs, and last night Cade and Murdoch, a team that WWE had seemed to be giving a push to, loses to Carlito and Flair. Then they stick the Highlanders, another highly touted team, out there to get tossed around by Khali. Has the WWE given up on defined tag teams? What happened to the glory day of Demolition, the Hart Foundation, the Rockers, etc?

Don't forget about The Road Warriors, aka The Legion of Doom.
I liked the WWE better when they weren't splitting their shows; that is, RAW and Smackdown involved all their stars. I don't like the idea of 2 Champions, one for each night, because then you have to figure out which wrestlers you'd rather watch. There should be one champion, one set of tag team champions, and one 2nd tier champion (i.e., Intercontinental Champion).
Until they figure this out, I think the entire WWE is suffering from it, not just the tag team division.

they should have never gotten rid of the dudleys, probably one of the best tag teams of all time. In October their TNA contract expires, and they might come back to WWE,and fued with the hardys. John Morrison and The Miz are better than Holly and Rhodes, mainly because Morrison has soo much skill and potential, no soo much cuz of the Miz. Paul London and Brian Kendrick need to get a push, because their really good in the ring. Cryme Time should get a push as well.

I asked a question about tag teams a few days ago, and the consensus was a lot of people are not interested in tag teams right now.
I would love to see a great tag team division with good quality tag teams and good gimmicks.

The WWE has been mediocre in tag team work for years, and they are going through another phase of dumping on tag teams.

Their tag team sucks. The WGTT is not being used properly and WWE's Creative team is too damn stupid to come up with good storylines and teams to make the belts mean something.

On RAW, the tag team division is on life support. However, on Smackdown, it is alive and kicking ***.
