Cowboy, you are absolutely correct.
What a shame that it is now considered immoral to have some morals.

The issue probably isn't of you expressing your opinion or distaste for a lifestyle choice; it has to do with HOW and WHEN you express it.
I'm not talking about being "politically correct", but rather about being tactful. What you percieve as an "Okay" or "polite" comment may seem harmful or insulting to another. It's a matter of being clear about what you TRULY mean, clear about your level of respect for the person if not their point of view, and polite in your word choice.
However, there is NO garantee that just because you do this people of the opposite view will do the same. Kinda a tough choice.

Nope, just cause you dont go for it doesn't mean that you are homophobic.
Just the same you do not have to announce whats wrong with it either and that is homophobic.
I have some gay friends and they are all really some of the best guys anyone could ever meet.
I also have some straight friends that like to act gay and they are totally straight they just get a kick out of it, and they love to freak out homophobes!!!
Anyway I hope you get enlightenment!!!

You are entitled to your own opinion but every human being is also entitled to being treated with respect and human decency. When your opinion interferes with anothers rights to being treated fairly then your opinion is not the most important matter at hand. Have you ever heard that the things we hate in others are actually things we hate about ourselves?

Sure, this is a free country. You can have your own opinion. Just sometimes it's better to keep the opinion to yourself so that others don't havea hissy fit. As far as being politically correct, I don't play that game of silliness.

No one has to agree that it's cool, but human decency should keep people who don't think it's cool from heaping abuse on a person just because he or she is gay.

It depends on how you present your opinion, if you denounce a group of people in very negative terms you will invite criticism; if you simply state you do not approve of homosexuality that's your entitled opinion.

Cowboy what has happened to you lately? Is something wrong?
I avoid the gay questions because I have a friend who is gay and all though I don't agree with it, I am not going to trash anyone.

People are people if they want to be gay who cares. If most people worried about themselves as much as they do others then this world would be totally different.

I didn't see that anyone asked for anyone else to think that gay is "cool". How about just leave it alone if you don't approve? Is that too much to ask?
I don't lable myself as "cool" because I'm gay. I don't know anyone else who does, either.
