I was put off, because the actress Anna Massey had appeared in an episode of Inspector Morse as a very unhinged lady. when her character in Lewis met Lewis she implied that they had met before. While i like Anna Massey as an actress surely for reasons of continuity it would have been better to have a different actress play the professor if they were saying she had met Lewis, what do other people think, as a programme i found it very good.

I remember Anna Massey playing a very unhinged lady in an episode of Midsomer Murders where she thought (put in her head by Gwen Taylor) a slightly unhinged girl was her long lost baby.
Anyway I don't recall her in Morse but if you are right I don't think it matters. I thought they link the two series rather well. I expect to discover who killed Lewis's wife in the final one.
