I live near New Orleans, so I'm always interested in hearing how others are celebrating Fat Tuesday.

What are you doing to celebrate Mardi Gras? Are you cooking jambalaya, drinking hurricanes, and having king cake for dessert? Are you decorating your house, or wearing beads today?

Have you ever attended Mardi Gras in New Orleans? Tell me about it!

I wanted to attend Mardi Gras in New Orleans today.. I live right out of Slidell. However, none of my friends wanted to make the trip and fight the crowds. So i went fishing earlier and now am watching it on WWL-TV..oh what great costumes they have on! Wish i was there though. No jambalaya, no gumbo..alas...but perhaps a grilled steak will be in order. Will miss Mardi Gras as I am moving to Canada. Laissez Les Bon Temp Roulez Yeah.
