I know exactly this feeling. And I have thought the same thing lately. And some days I wonder what is the point of all my hard work? No one will write about it in history books.
Just yesterday I talked to my Aunt. She lectured me on the only point in life it to pay off my loans, get a job, get a house, and make money.
It felt really lacking. I work hard, but I get no where it seems.
I feel very lost in this society.

All the time. I sometimes wonder what other human beings are all about. I feel i'm generous and a good listener- but i get no thanks- only more earache and people asking for more. I only try to compliment people - make the most of their good points- rather than point out their bad points. I'm never short of company or friends- but they really drain me- i'm becoming more of a hermit day by day!!

Sometimes when i'm feeling disalusioned and i take a break and work on myself.Believe in something good and do something nice for someone else it will cheer you up.And i pray not all the time ,but i should pray more though.Think positive and those feelings will disapate.Peace

Sometimes we just need to be alone, but why unappreciated? You should only honour yourself in anything you do, that way you are pleasing yourself, when you try and please everyone else you've lost the plot.

All the time. People often put us down to make them feel better. Remember that we are better than that. We are great.

we all do don't we there's a song from Linkin park
"I've tried so hard and got so far but IN THE END it doesn't even matter - I had to fall, to lose it all but IN THE END it doesn't even matter".
