Well, the Second Amendment IS your gun permit, but states have laws that restrict gun ownership, some more than others--and it's all unconstitutional.

Some states you need a permit (like here in Ohio) to carry a concealed weapon, while it's not required in New Hampshire.

We Americans love our freedom, most of us anyway. And the way to stay free is to be prepared to fight for it. This is a lesson that the British should have learned long ago. Just for the benefit of you dumb Limeys, while gun crimes may have gone down (and that is doubtful), other violent crimes in the UK have gone up.

Yes you can buy a gun in the U.S. Each state, and some cities, have restrictions on the purchase, carry of a firearm. You also will have to get a background check performed when you purchase the firearm.
