Why bother? If hubby is smart enough to network, he is fully aware of how to spy on you with keyloggers, image capture devices, etc! In other words, if he wanted to, he could set up some software that took a pic of your desktop every 30 seconds to see what you are up to! If you are up to no good, he probably already knows!
P.S. If you follow the direction of a couple of these hamhead no nuthins above, you wont be on the net at all!

Easiest way is to disable the network adapter. For Windows XP, go into Control Panel, Network Connections and right-click on the active (or connected) network adapter. The top item on the popup menu should be Disable. Select that option.
The computers may still be connected via the network cabling, but he will not be able to access your computer. You may also not be able to access the Internet, if he changed the way that worked also.

Right click network connections on the desktop under my computer and then click properties and then delete the network highlight it and and press delete. This is for Windows 2000 and XP.
