Its still just a rumor or thought. No official signing in sight as of yet for Scottie Pippen. As far as him signing with the Suns, here's an article that came out today which only suggests he's a choice for the Suns, and not about him getting ready to sign with the Suns:

I heard that but Scottie is 41 years old and Phoenix do not need him they have Steve Nash,one of the best international players,Amare Stoudamire,one of the best centers, and Shawn Marion.They also have a good shooting guard Bell, and Barbosa.

Yes it is true. Scottie wants to sign with a NBA team, but the team he wants to sign with is the Miami Heat. He said he would like to sign with a Eastern Conference team.

he said he wants to sign with a team with playoff hopes. he also said he'd prefer warm weather. i heard the suns say that they had to take a look at it, but didn't think he would end up on their team. the three teams that get mentioned the most, in order, are Miami, lakers, and Cleveland. Me? I'd love to see him with lebron, but the lakers make a lot of sense since he knows the triangle offense so well from his days in Chicago with Phil.

Pippen is garbage he always was. He could produce in Chicago because all eyes were on 23. Now he does belong in the NBA but he is not a hall of fame player. Even though he will make it.
