Do you think there is too much developement? and how do you feel about the number of english people moving there? Do you mind or do you think that too many people move to cyprus? Do you feel that your culture is being lost?

Lots of questions , i know! I love the island so much that when i am older (im 15 now), i want to live there. I have been learning greek for over a year because i really want to live there. Tell me all!

Of course all EU citizens can move in Cyprus freely without restrictions. There is a danger for the culture of the island to be lost but at least if you are trying to learn the language it will help you immerse your self in that culture rather than live in a parallel society as most foreigners do in Cyprus. Tourism is overdeveloped and responsible for the architectural attrocities that exist in Cyprus. The cities in Cyprus are the ugliest on earth as opposed to the countryside that is so nice.

The island of Cyprus is split in 2 areas: a million. Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus 2. Republic of Cyprus The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has a inhabitants of 208,886, yet there are not often any (below a million%) Greek Cypriots between them. The Republic of Cyprus has a inhabitants of 802,500. of those, in basic terms over 80% are Greek Cypriots, so approximately 642,six hundred human beings. those are expert figures of the two republics. in the event that they are solid, then the solutions could be that there approximately 650,000 Greek Cypriots on Cyprus.

I'm not a Cypriot but I've been there more times than you, it seems. When I first went, my little knowledge of Greek was more than sufficient. Nowadays, I hear too much Turkish over there and, although the island is still beautiful (in parts), there are other places which offer better experiences, especially for tourism.
