If you had the opportunity to work with a holistic health counselor, what goals would you set for yourself? Do you have specific food and/or lifestyle concerns? What approach would you prefer: 1. someone who will work with you over a period of time, supporting you in goal realization; 2. a one time meeting to have your general nutritional questions answered; 3. monthly meetings/workshops held for a group of people with specific health and lifestyle topics addressed?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

I would love to work with a holistic practioner. I have multiple severe food allergies and constantly get accidental exposure. I would love to be able to resolve the issue once and for all-my allergens are wheat, soy, eggs and dairy, so it makes my diet very limiting, and they are in everything! even in pills and supplements. I would love any form, group meeting, one on one, classes, whatever. I live in a small town and the nearest practitioner is two hours drive away, sigh.

Are you trying to second guess what the question will be before you see the counselor? This isn't a test that you have to study for. You already know what the problems are and what you want. Let the counselor do the rest.
