I was talking to a person about different issues. I stated that men are more athletic than women by nature. The person said I was sexist. I also stated despite the bias most minorities suffer in different walks of life, they could have done better at integrating to the mainstream and seize their opportunities. The person thought I am a racist. I am a minority myself. What do you think?

N.B. I have asked a question, "Do you think there is such thing as the smartest race?" The question did not imply anything, I actually believe there is absolotely NO correspondence for the phrase in reality. However,a minority of people who answered the question assumed that the question implied exactly that and attacked me personally. Whatever happened to free speech as in expressing yourself freely, but without deliberately disrespecting a person or a group? This is America.

Yes, your second question could be taken to imply that you believe there is a smartest race and that you're looking for support. A way to diffuse that when asking is to state that you don't believe it to be true, but are interested to if others believe it. This will help, but will not stop some people from just reacting to the question.

Unfortunately men are not more athletic than women by nature... there are different athletic activities that each excels at or ar naturally suited for. The "racist" statement sounds like you were stating an observation but I'd (we'd) need to see the original comment as it could go either way depending on your tone or wording.

You know who You are. Speak your mind straight up.
If you are a minority, you may be a racist because you have had thoughts that your condition could have been better if you had not been. Everyone on the planet is a racist to some extent towards some characteristic of another race or culture. The people who are not will call you a racist if you call them a liar. Free speech only applies when you are not talking to a racist or sexist. In the exercise of free speech among free speakers, the argument is about who is buying the coffee.

Well there a lot I could say but, I just say this... You're right this is America, people can say what they want about who they want to say it to no matter how jugdemental, hateful, ignorant or sick it may be, however people have the right to complain if they want to. That's America!
