Since you want to hit WDW, Universal, and Sea World, you're best off trying to get a package deal through a travel agent. That way you can get the best deals on plane tickets, hotel accommodations, park passes, etc.

Here's what you need to know about the passes at Disney World:

PARK HOPPER: These passes allow you to go to any theme park you like on any given day, and you can even "hop" from one park to another on the same day (unlimited number of "hops"). The basic park hopper passes are good for the four theme parks. The deluxe park hopper passes also allow you to go to the water parks, Pleasure Island, and Disney Quest. The more days you get on your park hopper pass, the less it costs per day, but be warned: The deluxe park hopper passes are quite a bit more expensive, so you'd have to do at least two days at the water parks to make it worth the additional money you spend. You can also get passes that never expire (just in case you by a 7-day pass but only go to the park for 5 days) but they cost QUITE a bit more. You're better off figuring it out in advance and getting a pass for the exact number of days you'll be there.

FAST PASS -- These are special passes for certain rides within the parks. Here's how it works: If a ride has a FAST PASS station, you go up and put your park pass into the FAST PASS machine. The machine spits your park pass back out and gives you a ticket for the ride that gives you a one-hour window where you can walk right up and get in the FAST PASS line (where the wait for the ride is usually no more than 5 minutes). The only problem is you can only get one FAST PASS at a time, so the ticket it spits out will tell you how long you have to wait to get your next FAST PASS. They're very handy for the popular rides that are notorious for long lines. Here's a list of rides you can get them for (this list is not all-inclusive):

MAGIC KINGDOM
Space Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Splash Mountain
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
Stitch's Great Escape
Peter Pan's Flight
Jungle Cruise

EPCOT
Test Track
Mission: SPACE
Soarin' (HIGHLY recommended for this ride -- long lines)
Honey, I Shrunk the Audience!
Maelstrom (in Norway)

DISNEY MGM STUDIOS
Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Rock N' Roller Coaster
Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular

ANIMAL KINGDOM
It's Tough to Be a Bug!
Kilimanjaro Safaris
Kali River Rapids
Expedition: Everest
Dinosaur

Heya the best thing to do is get a list together of all the parks you want to visit and then go and buy them it is confusing cause you have all these parks and all different types of tickets but if you say I want ot go here they will sell you the best ticket for you. Do not get convinced to buy tickets for places you are not going to see. Basically there are the four main Disney parks, Epcot, MGM,Magic Kingdom & the Animal Kingdom you can buy a ticket for these parks together when we went we got a 14 days 4 park hopper pass which expires 14 days after you first use it so you can go to any park during the 14 days. Then there are all the ther Disney parks like Blizzard beach & Tyfoon Lagoon mostly waterparks.

Then you have Universal Studios & Island of Adventure, these two parks ar right beside each other and are both Universal, we bought a five park pass which included Universal Studios, Island of Adventure, Busch Gardens, Seaworld & Wet & wild this is called a five day flexi Ticket you can also get a 4 day flexi ticket, this works basically the same as the Disney one ie 14 days but it is for the different parks.

The fast pass relates to when you are in the park you go to the ride or show you want to see and if the q is to long they have these machines called fast passs machines & you put your park ticket in and it will give you a ticket for hte show/ride for a later time, it will tell you when to come back then and when you do you go to the fast pass line which should be shorter & quicker for you.

There are loads of places to visit and you head will be spining about where to go but if you read up on them and know where you want to go it will be easier for you to plan.

We have been twice and the first time like you we hadn't got a clue and we went to our holiday rep told him were we wanted to go and bought the tickets. The second time we bought the tickets from our hotel lobby, most hotels have these stands to sell all the parks tickets etc do not buy your tickets from a stand on th street and don't buy tickets for somewhere you do not want to visit like all sales people they can be very persuasive.

Just do an online search via ask.co.uk - we went last year and found the best prices just by searching - take a tip - buy the Discovery Cove Swim with Dolphins - included in the price is a 7 day pass to Seaworld - you'll need it!

Don't worry about the fast passes at Disney - they are thought to be scraping it and making a daily charge! Same as at Universal!

If that is the case - you won't save much - if anything - just buy the fast track when you get there!

We found last year that Kieth Prowse.com were doing the
best value , they will do deals for all the parks , we got
fast passes through them for Disney but had to pay extra
for Universal at the park , there is a multi ticket for called
flexi ticket for Seaworld , Universal, wet and wild..
I must admit Disneys water parks were the best , go early
No matter where you buy them you will love the parks ,
have a great time.

The City of Orlando's Official website offers discounted tickets. They have the Orlando Flex ticket which gives you 14 consecutive days of unlimited park-to-park access to Universal Studios, Universal's Islands of Adventure, Sea World, and Wet N' Wild. Then they also have a 5 park flex pass fgor a bit more which adds access to Busch Gardens and Tampa Bay. Both types include City Walk passes.
At Universal's gate, a 4 park ticket for an adult costs $202.30, but through the visitor's center, it goes down to $196 per person.
And the 5 park ticket is $241.50 for adults.
Visit http://www.orlandoinfo.com and request a free trip planning kit. Inside will be a coupon book for Orlando and all the info I just gave you for discounted tickets.

As for Disney, the Visitor's Center does not offer any discounts. But you can purchase discounted park tickets at any of the following locations:

AAA (membership required)
Costco (membership required - online travel services)
Sam's Club (membership required - online travel services)
your local Disney Store

Keith prowse for your tickets, before you buy though sit down and really decide if you want to do Universal, Disney and Sea-world all in one trip.
Fast pass don't think it it worth the extra cost, hopper pass definitely.
Check out the website to see if they have any special offers on, as they usually have something.
I prefer Disney to Universal as it covers all themes, seems better organised.Don't rush in to buying tickets sit down and look at the sites on the net for Universal,Seaworld and Disney see whats there.

I used www.orlando-ticket-deals.co.uk

The were highly recommended on a Disney message board. They issued actual tickets (some places will just give you a print out) and they were the cheapest for what I was looking for.

I have used this web site before. They are legit and the prices are better than the other sites listed. Also you can go to sea world and universal web sites and they also have deals. We just went to Florida last summer for two weeks also. And the web site sells other tickets than Disney.
