i'm 16 and i got my first period at 12
i didnt get my period since 7 months ago...
i have never got that 'regular cycle' of every 30 days...mine is very irregular, i get my period like
4-6 times a year..
I'm also very short 4'11...and i haven't grown since age 10/11....does my irregular periods have any correlation with my height growth, and is it stunting my growth?

i think u should see a doctor, i have periods like 3 times a year and i went to the doctor about it and i was diagnosed with poly-cystic (however u spell it) ovaries. U may not have it but its worth getting checked.

I am very irregular as well!!! Things that help are birth control. Also, if you spend alot of time around other girls/girls you dont normally hang out with. This can alter your period. Some girls just naturally adjust to other women. I am like that. Everytime I start hanging out with a new female I wont have a period for months on end. YOu may be a lil stressed too.

no it has to do with your age. my daughter is 17 and just starting to make some sence of hers. I had endro so I never had a regular period until I was pregnant and on the pill. at 40 was still not on a 28 day cycle like should be. right now you are normal. give yourself a few more years and then worry about it.

I do have a friend who is very similar like you, she gets hers once or twice a year. It is definitely relate to your body cycle. Highly recommand to talk to a GYN, so you get a better idea on how your body works. The birth control pills can regulate your period to every 30 days. But I don't think it will help your growth. However, it doesn't stop you from being a girl :)
