I think that answer is Yes.

Plato were more comfortable with the idea of a perfect mental Universe. All that Plato conceived as real were the superior "concepts world" because according to him, senses betrayed us all the time and our real things were just shadows of the real perfect concepts.

If he lived today I think that he would be feared to see the enormous technological advances but, on the other hand, you can see that our present time is passing through a platonic era: esoteric issues raising all the time (UFO's, doom predictions, etc.), romantic points of view regarding enviromental issues and desire to be better persons through magical recipes.

All of them, contrary to the Aristotelic and ultrarational conception of the world. So maybe Plato would be happy to know that he still rules!
