They will grow, although slowly, but once they get just past the tips of my fingers they flake off in layers.

First are you sure its not a fungus that is making them flake, its a classic sign. If so then try some spirulina, but make sure you dont an allergy to algae. Also take in calcium but remember that too much calcium is a very bad thing. Vitamin E also helps with hair and nails try getting some of that. Also too some meds will make your nails do this or a vitamin deficiency.

The FIRST thing you should do is see a doctor! Nails that 'break' and 'flake' are a symptom of thyroid problems ... especially if you are also gaining a lot of weight, are 'underweight' or have little energy. Getting your thyroid 'fixed' will help your nails ... but they will still 'flake' at times if your thyroid gets 'off' just a little bit.

Drink milk on the daily,take vitamins that help build up your calcium level,and buy the clear finger nail polish and apply 2 coats to clean dry nails everyday! If U follo dese directionz yo nails will probably end up the way U want dem 2 B!!Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Theres an Avon brand clear coat that I believe has Diamond Dust in it. Works great for the Other Half.

they have a nail strengthen polish that has vitamin E it really works in about 4-5 days

Hi, Calcium. Dairy or products that have calcium and lotion, it's a dry, harsh world in the winter. Good luck and then go get a manicure!!

Try using Nail Envy by OPI....it takes awhile for you to notice a difference (like a month)...but it works great!! I have very brittle and peely nails...this works great!!

i dont kno about the silk wrap but try sally hansen diamond strength for nails somethin like that apparently its workls really well..

take calcium, and go to the beauty supply store, and get that almond oil, use it every night, it makes your nails more resilient.

the almond oil- super nail dryer.. but it is great for your cuticles too!
