not bear the sacrifice hes forcing upon our troops, in his sidestepping involvement in his own war of Vietnam?
Or should we trust him when he says he understands the hardships our troops face?
when in reality he never had to -- because he couldnt when it was his turn to prove his patriotism?

Its clearly apparent most of you dont know what patriotism is.
Why people would accept leadership from a man who couldnt endure -- refused to endure the very same hardships he asks of thousands of men, and refused to put his life on the line for his troops.
The only people that support him are those that would do the same thing.
Bush supports thank you for proving how unpatriotic you guys are

What can you say about someone that swears in to protect and defend the Constitution, and then wipe his *** with it. Obviously the best of his ability is to do that. People don't know where the real fight for freedom is.
I George W. Bush do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Agreed that Bush is very unpatriotic. He has some major mental issues going on, not only that but he is an alcoholic...once an alcoholic, ALWAYS an alcoholic.
Why should we respect HIM, when he doesn't respect us, who have to go and fight his wars. If he DID respect us, then he would have went to the funerals of those that died because of HIS ORDERS. If he DID respect us, then he wouldn't have been cracking jokes about where the WMD were. If he DID respect us, then he would shut down the border and keep illegals out and deport the illegal aliens who are here. If he respected us, he wouldn't be threatening to start a THIRD war in Iran. No, he doesn't respect us at all.

Hell, I don't even trust his accent. He was born in Massachusetts and went to Yale. His accent is as phony as Madonna's.
But that's okay. He's the decider-er-er-er-er-er.
It was interesting how he not only avoided service in Vietnam by running to the Nat'l Guard Air Force - but also avoided service in the Nat'l Guard Air Force as well. Now that takes talent, or connections.

George W. Bush volunteered for the Texas Air National Guard and was trained as a fighter pilot. The aircraft he was trained to fly was taken out of service before he was deployed and by the time he could have been cross trained in another aircraft, his service would have been completed. He could just as easily been deployed. He was honorably discharged. What part of volunteered do you not understand, or is it just your intense hatred of the President that has blinded you to the truth?
Now, if you want to talk about unpatriotic, let's take a look at the other side:
Bill Clinton was ordered to report for induction, but instead he scurried off to Europe where he smoked marijuana but supposedly didn't inhale the smoke (wink, wink) He ignored his draft orders and, therefore, committed a felony for which he was never prosecuted. He never served anyone but himself.
Al Gore was a reporter for Stars & Striped who never heard a shot fired in anger and who worked in an air-conditioned office.
John Kerry was a serving member of the United States Navy who faked some wounds and put himself in for combat decorations he didn't earn, then after being returned to the US and while still a member of the American Armed Forces, he flew to France where he met in conference with members of the Communist Government of North Vietnam. That's called being a traitor. They he came back to the US where he lied to Congress about the conduct of his fellow servicement, accusing them of war crimes. That's called being a dispicable traitor. To this day, John Kerry refuses to release his discharge papers for public scrutiny.
So you tell me who's the unpatriotic people here, and HERE'S YOUR SIGN!!!

Great question....and great link! Thanks for posting that. Why is it that people are unable to comprehend the truth when it is written in black and white??? I guess it's like Bush said "You can fool some of the people all the time. Those are the ones we are concentrating on."
Have a good one.

President Bush is NOT unpatriotic, he is NOT forcing sacrifice upon our troops, and he has NOT sidestepped responsibility during the Vietnam conflict.
one can understand and feel emotion while never experiencing them firsthand-it's called empathy.
nice web site-real accuracy there.

To suggest he's un-Patriotic or is 'forcing' troops to do something is childish. Especially since 1.) You don't know Bush personally. and 2.) There is no draft.

GW Bush served proudly as an ANG fighter pilot. He made his contribution then, and continues to do so today.
