The terrorists and the Democrat party would loose the most .
If the Democrats would have pursued terrorism vigorously when we were first attacked- and meant it-other than a pitiful distraction during Clinton's impeachment ...George W. Bush wouldn't have had to take care of Clinton's inadequacy . By doing so- George W. makes the Democrat party look bad( not that they need much help ). . That's why they wage their war on the War on Terror .

Democrats didn't start the war! If Republicans didn't think they could march in and take over Iraq's oil based on totem pole lies by Bush, Iraq would not be in the position it is in! Smack in the middle of a civil war, first because we attacked a soveriegn nation illegally and then Bush didn't give them enough troops to do the job! Instead they have been target practice for over 4 years with body bags coming home every single day!!! Pat yourself on the back!

Who loses the most are around 200,000 dead Iraqi's who had nothing to do with terrorism, and a country that had nothing to do with 9/11! All they had was oil and we were going after that after the US Oil companies lost 3 large contracts to France an Russia!

The other losers are our military who has suffered 50,000 dead and wounded while Bush cuts their VA Hospitals, but in the same budget gives another tax cut to the rich!

And Republicans are losers! They have ALWAYS been losers because the only thing they care about is themselves and their wallet!! They are now losers at the ballot box so you better steal your TRILLIONS while you still have a chance!

Oh, you forgot that the CIA were behind terrorist attacks and had an elected president removed and replaced with the pro oil Shaw of Iran! You think the Republicans care at all about "democracy"! If they did why are we overthrowing them and why has the constitution been Bush's #1 priority to change by fiat, and illegal laws yet to be challenged, like the Miltary Commission's Act of 2006, as we all know they are Unconstitutional!?

I am happy you think Iraq is simple and 3,401 military dead are just a statistic! Your question is simplistic and infer's a response you wanted but didn't get!

If you intend to resolve the huge mess created by the US and UK i Iraq You are going to be there a long, long time. The UK has already given up. The could have moved their troops to another field of operation but decided to go home. Now. What would happen if the US pulls out of its deadly error. Would there become a genocide in Iraq? The US would lose many many troops over time and likely the civilian deaths wood be horrendous. Is this Bush--t that has been started ever end nicely.

CANTU -- good answer.

Iran, Syria and the insurgents. It can only help the US. But you're dreaming; there will never be peace in the Middle East. They've been running around barefooted over there fighting for thousands of years. And you think the US is going to change that?
