I would have to say no.
There are some instances where others or yourself come first. Id have to ask who the situation was more important to, or impacted more.
Unless, it was my family and I was the father. Then yes, my family would come first : )

Actually family just USUALLY comes first but sometimes that's just not the case. When you are in love and you have children then they will come first so I guess the only thing second to your family is your job. Your career should never be a first choice.

it is to me.. everyone should know who should you give your main priority to, well to me my family always first in any circumstances.. family knows us better than outsiders so they knows what is good and what is not for us...

What do you mean by family?
Parents, brothers and sisters, cousins........ or spouse, your own kids?
Spouse, Own kids -Yes, they always come first.
Other family members, not always, actually......... not usually
