Hello Hanuman Bhakt

The popular certifications are from ASQ and IEE. The IEE certification details are available at http://www.iienet.org/Landing.aspx?ID=168 whereas ASQ certification details are available at http://www.asq.org/certification/

Six Sigma black belt certification requires 3+ years of work experience along with two completed projects. Similarly Green Belt certification requires 3 years of work experience. For details, you can refer to http://www.asq.org/education/training/certification-right-for-you.html

ASQ has a tie-up with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in India. They have scheduled its next Six Sigma Black Belt training course in New Delhi. The dates of the course are April 2-14, 2007 & June 4-15, 2007.

For more details on the above, please contact Amit Chatterjee at FICCI headquarters. He can be reached by e-mail at amitc@ficci.com

The other place to look at is ISI, details can be found out at http://www.isid.ac.in/~sqc/trgcal.html

Hope this information helps you

With warm regards,

SKS
