Is it an American's business what goes on in Germany? Not really.

Though I believe that Zundel has the right to ask questions, whether he's right or wrong.

For one thing, because he's German and was convicted in Germany. It is not for me, as an American, to say that the German people must tolerate Ernst Zundel or that it's gov't must afford it's citizens free speech. He was convicted in the US for a visa violation, which is not a violation of free speech rights.

He violated German law through his activities. The crime he was convicted of wouldn't exist in the United States but Germany is not the US. They also have to deal with their place in history as it relates to Hitler and World War 2. I don't blame them for being harsh and criminalizing any activity that could encourage hatred or minimizing Nazi atrocities.

I believe in a lot of things, but don't act fully on
all of my beliefs.

Particularly when I don't know a lot about the
incidents.

I also believe in gay marriage, but I have no
intention of becoming gay so that I can force
the local court system to deal with it.

Maybe you're trying to incite some action?
If so, you need to educate us, not just try to
make us feel guilty.
