Punjabi is the language of Indus Vally civilisation, it has wide ranged effect in Indian sub-continent.
I'm from Punjab, I also like Malayalam.

Hindi - sounds good
Malayalam - sounds like a riddle
Kannada - never heard it
tulu - sounds like a riddle
Punjabi - can not really categories this, hurmmmmm
guju - is a little funny
i am Gujarati and if i compare it to Hindi then it sounds funny.
