Don't worry if you only got it a few days ago then you'll still have warranty on it..Don't worry gal!
Just take it back to the store or ring the helpline number for packard bell which is 0870 1122334 or go to http://support.packardbell.com/uk/ and they will sort it out for you don't worry at all !!

HP is Hewlett Packard. The guy thinks because the name of your computer is "Packard Bell" that it has something to do with "Hewlett Packard" which it does not, they are two completely different companies.

Try taking the battery out of the laptop, and unplugging it from the outlet. Then put the battery back in, plug it in and try it again.

Press and hold the power button for at least 5 seconds--the laptop will definitely shut down, as long as you hold the power button in long enough. Then try restarting and see what happens.

What had you done just previous to shutting down the laptop? Did you install or uninstall any programs?

do no longer attempt to bend it lower back. it is going to in all probability harm. the appropriate ingredient to do is be straightforward. tell your dad what occurred. finding on the business enterprise and his interest the laptop would have been unfastened. If he comments there's a topic with it they might replace it or a minimum of restoration it for no value. lower back, it truthfully relies upon. yet be straightforward with him. mendacity or protecting it up won't get you very a techniques in the top. Plus you will get to handle guilt the full time in case you probably did. better of success.

If it's only a couple of days old, and you can't very quickly figure out what the problem is, I'd bring it back to where ever you bought it from, and get a replacement.

Have you tried the User's Guide for any suggestions?

Good luck.

take it back to where you got it from and explain to them the situation. It'll be under warranty so easily fixed

Contact HP for a warranty (RMA). It sounds like the hard drive may have failed (nothing you could have caused).
