More than affecting us, Science give us a way to make a better living. Historically speaking, there is a natural tendency of human being to get better living conditions through time passing.

Science as way to explain the phenomena in nature helps in that task because as we get more comprehension of our Universe the more benefits we can get from it.

I am posing you the positive point of view that Comte and other philosophers of XIX century stated, refering to the best way that Science can interfere in our lives.

Obviously, the negative effects that irrational use of science discoveries raise, are very apparent to us in the war and enviromental issues that usually we associate with it. Nevertheless, I am convinced that someday, positive effects will prevail over negatives.
