try spybot spyware removal tool. . . it shud help you remove all those stupid viruses!

Thoes would be items in your Internet History (which is why it opens your internet browser)..
If you delete all your Internet History items (in Internet Explorer: go to Tools, Internet Options... and click "Clear History") following that should exclude all your Internet History items in your search next time.
Also, make sure you use a genuine Search Engine (check the URL bar).

What search engine are you trying to use?
My guess is that you have a browser hijack that is taking you to a spoof search engine. When you type something into it, it sends you to a site that paid them for the link.

you have spyware which is causing browser redirects... go to download.com and search for free spyware programs and run them in safe mode many times, then you can also download mozilla firefox from firefox.com which is a much more secure browser that will generaly not run into such problems... good luck to you

Check for spyware on your computer. Lavasoft Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy are good programs to remove it.

sounds like you have adware or spyware on your machine. run anti-spyware software and see.
