Don't have surgery unless it is medically necessary. I had that for all of my child teen years. WHen I reached full adult growth, and happened to be working in a feedstore, working muscles a lot, mine became much less pronounced and now is not even noticeable other than my chest overall is bigger than most guys. Muscles seemed to have flattened it out somewhat. Work on your pecs, build them up and you should see some improvement in cosmetically or even physically offsetting the chest.

Pegeon chest is a congenital deformity, if it is not affecting the persons normal well being better not to operate it..well a cosmetic view is a factor where on may have a controversial view...it is best jugdged my the affected person, but for an advice i thing if it is adujustable do not get operated.

No they don't pose health problems and the last thing you want is a weakend rib cage, I personal have Pectus carinatum but I don't find it visably displeasing I quite like mine actually
