Have you been to the desert view tower?

Idylwild is pretty nice too, if you wish to get out of the concrete jungle.

I'm guessing you've been to Las Vegas too.

In that case, go to New York City or Chicago. Let the family see what a different large Metro area looks like. NYC is great any time of year, and Chicago would be a beautiful place to go in the spring.

...or take them Frisbee golfing at Morley Field. Just take the Pershing Ave. exit and head right up the hill.

Monterrey bay aquarium is great for kids, lots of hands on activities. And the street right there is like straight out of Cannery Row. All up the coast is a great drive, just make sure you rent a new R.V. too many problems with the older ones. WE spent our first night dining on the side of highway 126 waiting for auto club because an improperly inflated old tire blew out. We thought we had been shot. Have Fun. T.V. fell out. Fridge door broke, other than that our son still talks about how much fun it was.

We just planned a cruise to Mexico/ Ensenada for St. Patty's weekend (March 16-19). We booked a group so the prices start as low $200 pp inside cabins plus taxes, etc. They have a great kids program for all ages, nightlife for adults, (casino, shows, bars, food) & one stop in Ensenada where you can go shopping, hang on-board or take one of several off shore excursions. It just seemed like the best way to get away for 3 days and be entertained, fed and housed.

We still have a few extra cabins available at the group rate. If you are interested contact me.

How about up the coast to Monterey and the aquarium there? Probably just the drive up would be worth the trip. San Francisco would be awesome too and that whole area. Sounds great, wish I could join you!! Have fun!

Go to Los Angeles and run the LA Marathon. You can be a virtual runner if you can't do the real thing. Visit Hollywood or Universal Studios afterwards.

it depends on your budget & how much your family can spend. I would recommend ATLANTIS BAHAMAS in Nassau Bahamas. Here's the website:
